Jaia – Re:Works (including Serial Groover – Kiwa remix)

Release Date: Nov 2009, Beatport release December 23 Yannis Kamarinos aka Jaia is a true legend across the electronic music genres. The man behind a number of successful goa trance and ambient hits in the late 90’s as well as several movie soundtracks became a synonym for some exquisite progressive trance and house music after the turn of the millenium. It has been already four years since his groundbreaking album Fiction, during which Jaia has been releasing singles, remixing and touring the planet with his live performance. Today, Tribal Vision is very proud to announce a whole new series of Jaia releases, starting with a cd album containing brand new remixes of Jaia’s biggest hits by such outstanding and diverse remixers as Vibrasphere, Martin Roth, Silicon Sound or Blue Planet Corporation. Featured is also an exclusive cover version of famous The Milky Way song by French trance producer Aurora Borealis.

Kiwa – Redemption link Release Date: November 2, 2009 (Exclusive at Beatport) The 13th release on High Grade Recordings sees the return of Finland’s production duo, Kiwa. ‘Redemption’ blurs the boundaries of genre classification, drawing influences from breakbeat, psy-trance and electro house. Kiwa has given use two versions of ‘Redemption’, the original version and the Bundao mix. Remix duties are by Eshericks from Japan. Eshericks has made quite a name for himself recently and is being dubbed my many as one of the freshest new breaks producers on the scene. This remix shows exactly why.

Kiwa – Dynamite link Release Date: August 26, 2009 (Exclusive at Beatport) The 11th release on High Grade is the much anticipated return of our newest signing, Finland’s multi-genre production duo, Kiwa. Their last release on High Grade, “Drop Control” has topped the breaks chart on Beatport for several weeks and is still in the top 10! Much more to come from these guys this year so keep your ears peeled.. DJ Support: Far Too Loud, Kickflip, Karl Sav, High Eight, Specimen A, BETA and more

Drop Control Out Now!

Official release info:
Our ninth release, “Drop Control” is by Finland’s multi-genre production duo, Kiwa. Markku Louhio & Matti Elsinen have been producing together since early 90’s. Their music has escaped genre labeling, incorporating their many influences from psy-trance, electro and breakbeat. Markku has also worked in several other projects including Headphonics which has previously appeared on Bombtraxx Records with a fantastic remix of “Track One” by Audiohazard. More to come from these guys on High Grade as well. Remix duties is by Rektchordz whose first release on High Grade, “Turn The Speakers Up” topped the charts of Beatport for months. This remix shows exactly why he is one of the most in demand breakbeat producers today. DJ FEEDBACK: “Really solid tune with a proper funky feel – I put it in my last promo mix. Rektchordz remix gives the tune a slightly darker touch. Together they are a really good package.” – Oli Far Too Loud “LOVE THE ORIGINAL TRACK!!!!” – Peter Paul “Both mixes are sounding cool, got into the rektchords mix but think the original is maybe more my thing this time round.” – Hexadecimal “Really like this release mate, both mixes are fat. Good job. 9/10” – Rob Groove Diggerz “Some great disco edged sampling, choppy synths and a rolling groove on the original. Rektchordz injects his tech-funky style into things giving some tasty big room results. Original is more my kinda vibe, but both are hot!” – Kickflip “This is so good. Full support. Best thing I’ve heard in a while” – BETA ON THE WEB: http://www.myspace.com/highgraderecordingshttp://www.myspace.com/kiwamusichttp://www.myspace.com/rektchordz Available from:www.beatport.com

Deepscan Digi-single released

A new single is out on Exogenic! .. the long awaited ‘Deepscan’. This pumping dancefloor track is a mix of old school vibes and modern electro influences. We have been bombed with questions about this one and now it’s finally available. Thanks for your patience people! In a way, Deepscan is also the end of an era for Kiwa. It will be our last trance release for some time … we have always liked to mix different styles together and on the following releases (scheduled for June/July/August 2009) we have cooked up some electro, breaks and techno tracks. From the new ones, a release we are really looking forward to is a remix for Far Too Loud. We hate genre labeling, so maybe best to decide for yourselves. It’s all about music you like (or not) in the end. Listen to the Deepscan audio clip at kiwa myspace. Available from all major digital stores including: beatport.com junodownload.com iTunes
